Veuve Clicquot collaborates with Adam Goodrum | The Riddling Stool

The iconic brand that optimizes the colour yellow: Veuve Clicquot has collaborated, in an Australian first, with leading Australian designer Adam Goodrum to create a limited edition design piece inspired by the iconic champagne house. Adam unveiled last week in Sydney his highly anticipated ‘Riddling Stool’ at furniture emporium Cult Design.

The Riddling Stool bears the hallmarks of Adam Goodrum’s design philosophy and his immersion in the world of Veuve Clicquot. Designed to pack flat, the Riddling Stool is rendered in laser-cut aluminium with piano hinges, in the signature yellow colour of Veuve Clicquot and was manufactured by Australian company Tait in their Melbourne factory.

CREATIVE INSIDER | Conor Burke | NEW YORK

Back at home I was Market Editor at Vogue Living, where I worked on the front of book; editing shopping pages, styling shoots and writing features on design, food and style. Here in NYC I’m working with photographer Martyn Thompson, as the Brand Manager for his new fabric collection, titled “Martyn Thompson Studio”.

The designs all begin as one of his photographs before being woven on a jacquard loom. It’s wonderful working with someone who is endlessly creative and has such a distinct vision! Over the coming days I will be showing you my personal insight into New York Design Week but in the mean time check out where I like to hang in NYC.
