Sarah Gibson is the co-director of DesignByThem, an Australian furniture and accessories producer launched in 2007. Sarah is an industrial designer with a passion for business and Australian design. Together with fellow designer and co-founder Nicholas Karlovasitis, she has designed a range of furniture, lighting and accessories as well as curated and developed the work of other fellow Australian designers from their Sydney showroom. DesignByThem has made traction in both in the commercial and consumer markets. Sarah is a ball breaker.

Nicholas Karlovasitis is an Industrial Design graduate and DIA NSW council member. He is a co-founder of the Australian furniture and homewares brand DesignByThem where he has been busy designing products, collaborating with designers and curating the collection along with co founder and designer Sarah Gibson. Nicholas strongly believes in education, collaboration and sustainability, and is a frequent speaker at Universities and design events around Australia. His passion for good design has led him to create a design focused platform where Australian designers can showcase their work in Australia and abroad.
