KORBAN/FLAUBERT

Korban/Flaubert work across design and sculpture, producing furniture, sculpture, screens and installations. Their practice explores metal and motion in an intensive workshop setting. Metal manipulation in the workshop leads to objects and sculpture with a sense of fluidity and contained energy.

Over the years Janos Korban has developed significant expertise in metal. Stefanie’s modelmaking studio is central to the conception and development of objects and sculpture. Korban/Flaubert have exhibited extensively internationally and are represented in design museum collections in Australia, the U.S. and Germany. Architects have commissioned sculptural furniture and public art for significant spaces in a variety of projects.
