Kozminsky has been Melbourne’s most loved Jeweller since 1851. To celebrate 165 years, Kozminsky has collaborated with Emma Elizabeth, founder and creative director at LOCAL DESIGN to create this 1/1 project. Emma Elizabeth worked closely with the passionate team at Kozminsky to come to the conclusion that the celebration of 165 years, a mega milestone, could be something celebrated through the theatre and eye of the design world.

Kozminsky is 165 years young this year. To celebrate, Melbourne’s most loved Jeweller is collaborating with LOCAL DESIGN to showcase 7 of Australia’s brightest interior, furniture and lighting designers with a group show upstairs at the Salon, where each designer will showcase a 1/1 piece designed specifically to celebrate Kozminsky’s milestone.

GO Australia! Brickworks Building Products has partnered with a selection of unique Australian creatives to show their support for the Australian Olympic team through a celebration of colour, design and innovation, championed by the Burlesque glazed and Allure Collections from Brickworks Building Products.

The inagural Factory Design District by the multi talented Kobe Johns, graced the VIVID Sydney schedule this year housed in the ex Doug Up On Bourke location in Waterloo. Now known as The Commune, the industrial warehouse setting housed a selection of iconic Australian design brands like: Dinosaur Designs, Made by Tait, Mud and ISM Objects. Along with a series of smaller independent designers and LOCAL DESIGN.

What is a creative concept space some may ask…? Well, we feel it is a place where creativity can run free, a space that has multi-use including: local design gallery, photographic studio, event space, private functions, launches, film/music shoots, workshops and creative studios etc…..
