Rachel Vosila

Rachel Vosila is a Sydney based object/furniture designer who studied Design at COFA (now know as UNSW Art and Design). After graduating Rachel landed a job at Kartell as a Sales Consultant where she learned the ins and out of the commercial design and retail market. Unfortunately the store had to close but this just gave her the determination to get back to her creative roots, as she had missed being a maker and so her 2015 plan was born.

Put simply her goal is to design and make a chair a week for the entirety of the year under the Instagram account @one.a.week, where by allowing her talent to be viewed and each product is available for purchase, commission and production. With an exciting exhibition in store at the end of the year.
